SHIPPING AND DELIVERY POLICY

      Bengalcart.com has a well set out Shipping and Delivery Policy that has been made based on customer satisfaction and ensuring the item reaches you at the earliest possible date.

       SHIPPING POLICY:
Ø  In the event the buyer is an International buyer, the order shall be shipped and delivered through registered international couriers to ensure good service and authenticity as the same is being sent from India to your country.
Ø  In the event the buyer is from India, orders are shipped through registered domestic courier companies.
Ø  In most cases, your order shall be dispatched within 24 working hours or as per the delivery dispatch date agreed upon at the time of order confirmation and delivering of the shipment, subject to the courier company norms.
Ø  The Website is not in any way liable for any delay in delivery by the courier company and only guarantees to hand over the consignment to the courier company within 3 working days from the date of the order and payment or as per the delivery date agreed upon at the time of order confirmation.

      SHIPPING CHARGES:
Ø  If you are a local customer and your order is more than Rs. 1000, the shipping is done FREE OF COST.
Ø  However, applicable shipping charges for orders below Rs.1000 would be charged at time of placing the order and shall be shown as part of your bill.
Ø  For all international orders, suitable applicable shipping charges as per the order would be added to the order.
Ø  For any clarification, please send us your query at customercare@bengalcart.com, we shall revert back to you within 24 hours.

      DELIVERY POLICY:
Ø  No deliveries are made on Saturdays & Sundays in most countries where 5 day work culture prevails, unfortunately.
Ø  Also on festivals, courier companies have holidays and as a result of which there may be a delay in the delivery of your order.
Ø  Further deliveries are generally made during normal working hours of courier companies and these vary from country to country based on your locality.
Ø  To ensure that no disputes arise due to this, kindly make sure that someone is there to receive the package when courier delivery is attempted or provide us with an address that could be delivered to during working hours.
Ø  Please note that there are no shipments made from us on Sundays and public holidays.
Ø  Bengalcart shall not give any refund, returns, replacement and exchange for reason/s of delay caused on part of the carrier agency. However, at its sole discretion, Bengalcart could agree to provide order credit which may be used for future orders.

      ADDRESS CHANGE REQUEST:
Ø  Once a shipping address is registered, you cannot make any alterations. However, address alteration requests may be accommodated immediately of placing the order. You may send your alteration request to customercare@bengalcart.com. If the order is not dispatched, then we can possibly accommodate the change but once the order is dispatched, then no alteration could possibly be made.

      VAT & CUSTOM DUTIES:
Ø  VAT / Custom Taxes and Import Duties are not in our control. They vary according to the rules of different countries and must be paid directly by the buyer. VAT / Custom Taxes and Import Duties are not included in our ordering process, but may be charged to you by your government. International customers are responsible for any customs or duty fees charged by their country.

      BILLING ADDRESS AND SHIPPING ADDRESS:
Ø  Billing Address is the address where a customer gets his bills from the credit card company. Shipping address is the address where the customer wants to receive the shipment. Delivery will be made to the Shipping address only.

      CAN MY BILLING & SHIPPING ADDRESS BE DIFFERENT ?
Ø  Of course, it can be different. Thus you may place the order from one part of Globe and get it delivered in other part altogether. This becomes really handy when you want to send gifts to your dear one's.

      HOW DO I TRACK MY SHIPMENT ?
Ø  As soon as your package is shipped, we shall mail you the tracking details of the shipment via email. It may take about 24 hours for the shipment status to get updated. You can use the shipment tracking number on our courier partner’s website. 

      DOES MY SHIPMENT HOLD ANY RISK WHILE TRANSIT ?
Ø  The customer will bear no cost to damage while transit of the shipment. But if the package is damaged, stolen or lost after it has been delivered at the address specified by the customer, then bengalcart.com doesn’t not hold any responsibility for the same.

      INTERNATIONAL:
Ø  Customs and import duties may be applied to International orders when the shipment reaches its destination. Such charges are the responsibility of the recipient of your order and vary from country to country. Contact your local customs office for details.
Ø  Shipping laws are different in each country. It is your responsibility to check with your Customs office to verify whether the country to which you are shipping permits the shipment of your products.
Ø  BengalCart is not responsible for any direct, indirect, punitive, or consequential damages that arise from improper international shipping practices.
