CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
https://bengalcart.com follows a strict Cancellation and Refund Policy that has been made to ensure that you as a customer shall not have any hassles.
CANCELLATION POLICY:Ø Bengalcart usually dispatches products within 12-24 hour working hours. Hence Cancellations will be considered only if the request is made within 12 hours of placing an order or before the product is dispatched, whichever is earlier. Once the order is dispatched, then cancellation cannot be accepted.
Process of CANCELLATION:Ø We have set up a very simple procedure of cancellation.
Ø In order to cancel your order, which needs to be done before 12 hours or before the product has been dispatched, whichever is earlier; simply send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
Ø Please don’t forget to send across your reason for cancelling too so that we at Bengalcart know if we have to improve on anything.
what happens to payment made on the order:Ø Once the Cancellation message has been received and the cancellation has taken place, a refund of the ENTIRE AMOUNT shall be made to source from which the money has been paid by virtue of such cancellation. We at Bengalcart do not charge any fee as such and nothing will be deducted as Cancellation charges and the entire amount shall be refunded to source from which the money has been paid.
Ø The confirmation of your order being cancelled shall be conveyed to you within 1-2 working days. However, with regards to your payment, the same might take 7-10 days in order to receive your refund as the bank will need such time to provide the refund to the source of this transaction.
However, please note if the order is already placed, i.e. your cancellation request reaches us after the product is dispatched, cancellation will be impossible and any such request shall be invalid.
REFUND POLICY:Ø Bengalcart has put in place, no-hassle procedures to ensure that you can buy from us in confidence and return the item if the item is faulty or not what you had ordered. In case you are dissatisfied with the product received from Bengalcart, you may contact us with your complaints/ feedback at email@example.com We shall revert back to you within 1-2 working days.
IN CASE THE PRODUCT IS RECEIVED IN DAMAGED CONDITION OR THE WRONG ITEM IS RECEIVED:Ø We in bengalcart.com have stringent measures in place to ensure that the items delivered to you are in perfect condition. However, there is always a remote possibility that the item could be damaged during transit i.e. the outer packing of the product is partially open, damaged or tampered with, or that a wrong item is delivered to you.
Ø Immediately mail details of condition of the package, signs of tampering and other details that are visible to you, to firstname.lastname@example.org before accepting the package from the courier agency and they will shortly revert back to you
Ø As a result of such damage or wrong product, you may choose to refuse the package as a whole but please do mention the issues as remarks on the delivery slip which is the proof of delivery.
Ø Customer should also lodge a proper complaint with the local office of the courier agency, so that Bengalcart could take up the matter with them to prevent such occurrences in future.
Ø In such cases where your ordered item is either damaged during transit or the wrong item is delivered to you, we will replace the item at no extra cost, provided that the request for replacement/return of item is made by you within 24 hours from the receipt of the package.
Ø Before returning any product, always contact Bengalcart Team at email@example.com within 24 hours of receipt of such product. Our team will get in touch with you at the earliest. The email should contain comprehensive details of the defects/complaints of the single order/package delivery. Please note that Bengalcart shall examine the returned products for all such defects/variations, on the basis of the customer’s emails.
Ø Once such request has been validated, an authorized email with regards to the return shall be sent to you and all you have to do is fill in the details regarding the same, state the shipping address and send it back to us. Please bear in mind that we should receive the return package within 10 days (in case of Domestic Clients) or 15 days (in case of international clients) of our sending the authorizing email.
Ø In case any product is returned without such confirmation, Bengalcart does not guarantee any credit or replacement of the product.
Ø Kindly retain all packaging materials and the product until receipt of instructions from Bengalcart regarding the same. Post- receipt of the return package, we will proceed to inspect the same. Once approved as an eligible return, we will issue your refund or merchandise credit in the appropriate amount. If, however the return is not found eligible for refund, we will courier the same back to you. In either scenario, the issue of return will be closed within 10 days of our receiving of the return package from you.
PLS. NOTE: Notwithstanding the above, Bengalcart is under no obligation to accept any returns or provide any replacements or exchange or give store credit. Bengalcart shall have the sole discretion to assess each case on its own, separately.
REFUNDS IN CASE OF DAMAGED/WRONG PRODUCTS ARE MADE AS FOLLOWSØ In cases where your ordered item is either damaged during transit or the wrong item is delivered to you, we will replace the item at no extra cost, provided that the request for replacement/return of item is made by you within 24 hours from the receipt of the package.
Ø If you do not want a replacement, then the amount is credited back to the same account from which the payment was made (if the payment is made using a credit/debit or any form of net banking)
Ø Note : Only in the above case, shipping amount of Rs.100 would be given to the domestic customer for re-shipping the product to us. For customer orders outside of India, all shipping costs of returning the defective products back to us in India, over and above such amount paid towards shipping charges while receiving the same from India are to be borne by the customer entirely.
REFUNDS IN CASE OF DISSATISFACTION FROM PRODUCT ARE MADE AS FOLLOWS:Ø When a refund is to be made due to dissatisfaction at the customer’s end, then the amount is refunded in the form of store credits.
Ø In case of any complaints, email at firstname.lastname@example.org, within 24 hours of receiving the product.
